We currently offer three Sunday morning bible study groups for adults, beginning at 9:00 AM each Sunday morning.
Room for More
The “Room for More” class is primarily composed of senior adults who have been enjoying visiting over coffee and studying the scriptures together for many years. Newcomers are always welcome in this peer-led discussion group that covers topics unique to today’s seniors.
The “New” Class
This class was started as a young adults class but quickly grew into a diverse group representing several generations. The pastor generally leads this class which examines, in depth, the daily scripture readings of the Revised Common Lectionary as an introduction to the day’s worship service and sermon. Weekly discussions cover the theological, historical, and cultural backgrounds of the scripture readings — we’re always learning something new!
Thelma Terrace
Unique to our church is a Sunday school class designed specifically for adults with cognitive disabilities or other special needs. A supportive and nurturing environment fosters a sense of community and safe space for exploring spirituality and scripture under the guidance of compassionate volunteer leaders. Many of the participants in this class are residents of a local group home, but visitors are always welcomed with big smiles and warm hearts.
